The Forsaken Dog (El gos abandonat) - Monument
dedicated to stray dogs, those with no home and no friends. Engraved on
the stone pedestal, a poem by Margarita Grollero Euras:Tu raza no importa/No importa tu nombre/Tu vida tan corta/Que brindas al hombre/Es la fiel ofrenda/De este amor sin rienda/Que hay en tu mirada/De llama encendida/Hasta la jornada/Final e ignorada/De tu triste vida
wich, by my very, very, poor Spanish and a help from Yahoo! Babel Fish, means: your race does not matter/doesn't matter your name/your life so short/that you offer to man/you are the faithful offering/of this love without rein/that exists in your eyes/of ignited flame/until the day/final and forsaken/of your sad life.
