| “London Flat” is a phrase that describes a style of living. Clean lines, interesting but muted fabrics and most important, nothing to overpower the rest of the living space. The London Flat bed was designed with these rules in mind. The wood trim is oak, stained and varnished with a red mahogany stain. This theme is carried along the mattress box using an oak veneer. The headboard and footboard are upholstered in a fabric of modern green with two layers of upholstery applied to give them an interesting depth. They are both finished off with upholstered buttons in a deep red. To continue the commitment to clean lines, this bed has a mattress that fits inside the mattress box with no fabric draping over the sides of the bed. This keeps a simple line while showing off the wonderful oak veneered sides of the mattress box. Vaguely art deco in design, this bed is pleasing to the eye. It was recently on view at a Designer Showcase home and received a lot of attention. Put one in your home and see the attention you will get!
